Terms of Use
Last updated: April 29, 2026
1. No Attorney-Client Relationship Until Engagement
Submitting an intake or using the AI consultation does NOT create an attorney-client relationship. A relationship is formed only when both parties sign a written representation agreement.
2. Not Legal Advice
AI responses, articles, and any information on this site are general information only. They are not legal advice and may not apply to your situation. Consult a licensed attorney for advice on your specific case.
3. Confidentiality of Submitted Information
Information you submit via intake or the portal is treated confidentially in line with our Privacy Policy. However, before formal engagement, we cannot guarantee privilege applies to every communication. Avoid sending highly sensitive material until engagement is confirmed.
4. Acceptable Use
Do not submit false information, attempt to access cases that are not yours, share portal access tokens with unauthorized parties, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
5. AI Services
We use third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude) to power the consultation chat. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. A human attorney reviews case decisions.
6. Fees
Our representation is on a contingency fee basis. You owe attorney fees only if we recover compensation for you. Costs and expenses may apply per the representation agreement.
7. Jurisdiction
We are licensed to practice law in California. We cannot represent you on matters outside California unless we associate with local counsel.
8. Liability
We are not liable for damages arising from use of this website beyond the scope of an executed representation agreement.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after updates means acceptance.
